SSC Result 2022 – In 1961, based on the recommendations of the National Education Commission, the responsibility for higher secondary level education in Pakistan was again transferred to the boards instead of the universities. According to this system, the control and supervision of higher secondary education in East Pakistan is entrusted to the Dhaka Board. Later its name was again changed to the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

SSC Result 2022 – In view of this, three secondary and higher secondary education boards were established outside Dhaka in 1962 in three administrative divisions Rajshahi, Chittagong, and Khulna. Then gradually the whole country was divided into eight boards.

Boards of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education are responsible for the conduct, control, and management of secondary and higher secondary examinations in their areas of jurisdiction. As the prevailing public examination system in the country tends to get good results only through memorization, educationists feel that it does not reflect the true merit of the students. For that reason, the creative question system was introduced in SSC level public examination in 2010.
